Communications & Consulting
Plan B starts with the question: “What does it take to be a true professional?” We began to notice that the more we asked this question, the more we saw that true professionals are the stand-out leaders in their organization. They are committed to being more than just good at _______________ (what you went to school to be).
What does this mean? It means that we believe that great architects are more than architects. Great accountants are more than accountants. Great attorneys are more than attorneys. They have to be more than just good at “the job.”
The MORE part is Plan B. Plan B fills in all of the holes that were left unfilled by your “education”; the holes that you didn’t even know needed filled until you worked in an office for a while. Things like:
•A do-or-die presentation for that new client
•Telling Susie that she needs to dress appropriately
•Firing up the team when you just had to let someone go
•Calming an Angry Client
So, how do we fill in the holes? We actually have a plan for that . . . The way we see it, there are four areas in which true professionals excel.
